The Impact of COVID-19 on the KCS Senior School
Due to the already major effects on the entire construction industry as a result of the COVID-19 crisis, the impact to our own design and construction schedule through to the completion of the Senior School is unknowable at this time. Given this, we believe we can no longer confidently foresee the completion of the school in time for our planned 2021 opening. We remain committed to the KCS Senior School; however, we have decided to pause on the project until we have more certainty regarding the global pandemic and its impact. We'll share more when we can reliably forecast a new schedule.

The KCS vision for a new type of high school in Toronto is remarkable on three fronts: it is in demand; it will serve the needs of an entire population of forward-thinking families and students; and the incredible depth of study and research that is going into the design, based on what leading schools all over North America are doing. This is what courage and leadership look like, and I am completely convinced it will rocket KCS to a new position of recognition in the Canadian national education space.
