Please describe something unique about your educational background or career related experience.
I studied classical piano from a young age and enjoyed the challenge that it brought right through my first degree when I studied piano performance. As a teacher, I was passionate about meeting each student’s individual needs and focused my master’s thesis on grade 1 struggling readers. I grew increasingly interested in collaboration and the potential it has for both student and teacher learning. My doctoral research in educational leadership and policy focused on teachers' perspectives about learning through collaborative experiences and how teachers learn to adapt their practice to meet their students' individual needs.
