Academics

Developing Lifelong Learners since 1989

The KCS curriculum is carefully designed to prepare, inspire, and challenge each of our students every day.

We know our students are unique individuals, so we’ve built a curriculum that reflects their unique individual needs.

We want our students to become lifelong learners who will embrace new experiences in every aspect of their lives.

Thanks to our carefully constructed curriculum, that’s exactly what happens. KCS students go on to become leaders, trailblazers, and compassionate citizens who are dedicated to making a difference in their communities.

KCS offers both a rigorous and supportive academic culture because students deserve both. Students know that performance matters and they strive to do their best, accepting guidance on how to do so.

But of course, the learning process is just as essential as their performance. So they are encouraged to take risks and see their mistakes as opportunities for further learning.

KCS offers a rich program centred on The Four Doors to Learning Program which focuses around academics, arts, athletics and citizenship as well as the Habits of Mind, Body, and Action. We are also firmly committed to our students’ health – physical, mental, intellectual, and emotional. We work to nurture a culture that honours the importance of all these elements, creating unique opportunities and processes so that every student's experience at school is the best it can be.
